Things needed for performing of Santan Gopal Mantra

An image or a statue of childhood Lord Krishna

Some flowers and fruits

Butter

Chandan (Sandalwood)

A rosary consisting of 108 Tulsi Beads

A flute

A lamp filled with pure Ghee, Agarbatti.

Procedure for Santan Gopal Mantra:

1- At first, the couple should have a bath and wear white clothes.

2- Establish the image or statue of childhood form of Lord Krishna at home pooja sthal, or temple.

3- Keep the Santan Gopal Yantra with the statue.

4- Perform the Abhishek of the statue with Chandan (Sandalwood).

5- Offer flowers and fruits to the Gods.

6- Offer him with butter.

7- Light the lamp of pure desi ghee in front of God.

8- Light the incense stick in front of the statue.

9- Now chant the following mantra with the Jap of the rosary made of Tulsi beads.

“ ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं ग्लौं देवकीसुत गोविन्द वासुदेव जगत्पते देहि मे तनयं कृष्ण त्वामहं शरणं गतः ”

10- Offer a flute after the chanting of the Mantras.

11- The Butter should be consumed by the couple at night as prasad.
