How the 108 names of Lord Shiva originated

  According to Guru Maa Nidhi Ji Shrimali, when Lord Vishnu was in Yog Nidra in Kshirsagar, a lotus-like Supreme Father Brahma was born from his navel. After this, for many years Brahma ji started waiting for Vishnu to wake up. One day when Lord Shiva appeared with the Supreme Father in the form of a fiery Jyotirlinga, Brahma did not greet him. But then Lord Vishnu woke up and bowed down to him. Then the Supreme Father became aware of the glory of Lord Shiva. After this he accepted his mistake and apologized to Lord Shiva. After this, Lord Shiva gave him the responsibility of creating the universe and asked Vishnu ji to communicate with the world. On this, Lord Vishnu said that the destruction of the universe is also necessary. Then decided to take this responsibility from Lord Shiva on himself.
