Shri Durga Yantra

Yantra is a Sanskrit word which means instrument. It represents different symbols, processes, automata, machinery or any other thing that has organization or structure. It basically involves different geometric figures and patterns. In Indian religions, especially tantric traditions it has special astrological or magical significance. Once this is done chant the following mantra 21 times – ‘aaeng hareeng kaleeng chamundaye vichche’. Finally, pray with a pure heart to the deity to grant all your wishes and protect you from all forms of evil. The purohits of the priests have more experience and can properly energise the yantra by reciting the specific mantra of the respective gods.
