Parad (Mercury) Shivlingam

Parad is considered to be the purest and auspicious metal for the worship of Gods. The importance of the Parad (Mercury) Shivlingam is also mentioned in the Charaka Samhita. It is Siddha with 8 sanskaras. Pandit NM Shrimali says that worshipping Parad Shivling is equal to the worship of 12 Jyotirlingas. Lord Shiva himself resides in the Parada Shivling. Even childless couples can conceive if they worship Parad Shivling systematically. We should install Parad Shivling at our home or office and worship it systematically to achieve growth and prosperity. Pandit Ji says.. Every person who has installed Parad Shivling at home is blessed with happiness and prosperity and attains a healthy life and will be free of ill effects and protected from the untimely death. Worship of Parad Shivling will help to attain good physical and mental health. Parad (Mercury) Shivlingamis considered as the sperm(seed) of Lord Shiva. It is said in Brahma Purana that the person who worships Mercury Shivling with full devotion gets all worldly pleasures, and at attaining supreme destination. He is relieved of all his sins and attains liberation.
Shrimali Ji advises, systematic worship of the Parad Shivling in the Hindu month of Saawan is very beneficial and Lord Shiva bestows his blessings on the devotees and fulfils all the desires of the devotees. It removes all the negative energies from the premises. It neutralizes the harmful effects of the black magic. It also relieves the home and premises from the Vastu Dosh. If you want to please Lord Shiva then worship of Parad Shivling is the must. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself protects the person who worships shivling.  It also protects us from natural disasters and external ill effects. Much holiness and auspiciousness are acquired by the sight and worship of the purified Parad Shivling. Just a sight of Parad Shivling neutralizes an individual from dreadful sins.
