Guru Yantra

The Guru Yantra must be established properly in the house or the worship place to derive the best benefits out of it. It helps in bringing down the negative impact of a negatively working Jupiter and in improving the financial prosperity, knowledge and spiritual advancements. The first main step is to establish it at the most appropriate place in the house, pocket or around the neck in the form of a pendant. It’s highly beneficial if its establishment is done on Thursday. According to the Shastras, after placing the yantra at worship place, 11 or 21 beej mantras of Jupiter are enchanted. The Guru mantra or the Brihaspati beej mantra that must be enchanted is:

                                          ~II Om Graang Greeng Graung Sah Gurave Namah II~

The mantra is enchanted while performing pooja with the yellow flowers. Guru being affectionate and kind towards his devotees bestows them with good health, prosperity, and energy, if it’s worshipped in the right way. The Guru yantra is placed at a clean worship altar faced towards the East or North and is washed with rose water or milk. It is worshipped by lighting a ghee lamp and incense stick in front of it. Thereafter the  Beej Mantra is enchanted in front of the yantra to seek blessings. It is believed that Guru or Lord Brihaspati resides in the Guru Yantra and bestows the seeker with wealth, success, and happiness.

Astrological Importance:
Jupiter is one of the most positive planets as considered by Indian astrology. Being the largest planet in our solar system, it takes about twelve years to orbit around the Sun. It is regarded as one’s teacher. Those having Jupiter favourably placed in their horoscopes, turn out to be wise, truthful, spiritual, God-fearing and sincere.

Yantra Guidelines
First, purify your body and start with a clear and positive mind frame.
Light the incense or an oil lamp. (It does not matter how many you light).
Lay a fresh flower and a fresh fruit on the altar.
Take the water with a leaf from any tree and sprinkle the water on yourself, followed by sprinkling the water on the Yantra.
Chant mantra on a rosary.
Close your eyes and concentrate on the deity to bless you with wishes. Now with all sincerity, ask Jupiter for whatever you wish.
